It was that curious time of day when the afternoon had passed but the evening had not yet begun, and the sun was not yet sure it wanted to set just yet, although was beginning to get chilly. The ducks eagerly paddled amidst the fallen leaves beneath them and showed no sign of settling down for the night, nibbling at the bread the two sisters passed them.
Yet the spiders could not wait for this to be over so night could finally come. They had created constellations with their webs so that the stars could see and admire their work from above. They wanted the stars to appreciate that there was a small universe down on earth as well, and prove that even though they were tiny, they were capable of creating great things. Because, after all, massive stars do look as tiny as spiders when seen from earth, even if the space between them is infinite.
